description of srt-4 rims
17" wheels and tires. Tires are B.F. Goodrich Gforce 205/50 ZR17's. Rims are perfect with no scratches or knicks. They are 5 x 100 with a 40mm offset.

First off i wanna know if the 40mm offset would make them hang out the side of the car...

secondly i know they have a 5x100 lug setup... so i wanna know if they'd fit my car..

and lastly whatcha guys think abotu them?.. i have a friend who has a srt-4 so he'd be taking off the stock rims.. i can get em off him for about $350 with tires..
or should i just fork up the $1000 bucks to get some nice 18" rims..

main question is would they fit.. and hold me over till i can afford 18" rims....
i mean they are 17" so better then the stock celica rims..

here's what they look like

they should fit, altho they may look slightly sucked in

Photoshopped them onto a Celi for you. I just grabbed a picture of the first black one I found from the right view (since you drive a black one I figured that was best).

IMO they're not all that bad, but I have bad taste in rims.
Neons are 5x100... the rim is 17x6.5 w/ a 40 MM offset... stock rims have a 39MM offset so really not alot of difference there, just 1 MM closer to the strut.

they dont look bad on there and would be decent to tide u over till u get better rims. good tires too.

in that chop the rims are too small to be 17s... look like 15s in that chop.

Nope. At least they shouldn't be. The car I chopped them onto had 17" rims and I made the neon rims the exact same size.

I just think it needs to be lowered...
i measured.. and with the tires and everything.. the clearance from the tire to the wheel well would be decreased by a inch and a half... lowered a another incha and a half.. and tada.. bye bye to 3" of the gap

-Chris..
i put neon wheels on my car for a day, they have drag radials, which i needed bad... but anyway, the neon wheels i put on came out smaller than my wheels... they looked liket hose, but iam not sure if they were the same exact one. they are the same lug pattern, but my wheels were deffenetly allot bigger.
They would look great in person on the celi, I almost bought some for my celi and put them all on to see, but ran out of cash >frown.gif> . They would look much better if you had them professionally re-painted in gunmetal or black.

XXX: you probably used the 15in neon wheels im guessing, they look the same, and are lighter so it makes sense they put drag radials on them.

If anybody can find me a set of these for cheap let me know,

Initialdrift: maybe a trade for my rims?
