brembo rotors - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #21315 32 posts Started by slim75
theoretically that could work

get a bigger rotor same bolt pattern ect...
then get a matched caliper
template it
machine it on a CNC or what not
bolt it up make the necessary things
but at that i'd say go endless (brand) for the gt4
Lotta dreamers... <=/

Drilled and slotted rotors are USELESS if you don't match up pads. It's all about the PADS...

The slots are for reducing fade and do slice into the pads. Holes are for cooling and looks. For the most part, vented discs with sliding calipers don't require drilled surfaces... and normal compound pads will get eaten up pretty good from the slots during hard braking. The only time drilled rotors may be beneficial is if you're running some massive 4-6 pot solid calipers that bite like no tomorrow...

Oh... and as for the ebay rotors, usually if they're advertized "brembo"... they are, or were, Brembo blanks that have been machined.
