would the Aussie downpipe from MR2(2nd gen 3SGTE) fit the ST205?
Downpipe - 6G Celicas Forums
Erm. I know that the ST185 and ST205 downpipes are interchangeable.
I don't thing MR2->Celica works, as the exhausts are rather different.

JDM ST205Blitz Spec NUR Exhaust, somewhere over $1000Needing another one 18000 miles later, bloody annoying.

Aussie makes different downpipes for the MR2 and the Alltrac. A question I have always had is whether I should use an alltrac downpipe or a MR2 downpipe since my clip was from an MR2. It seems to me since the cat is from the MR2, I would need the MR2 downpipe.

The only thing I think that would make a difference would be where the downpipe connects to your existing exhaust. I think the one for an MR2 is angled a little more, so it might not line up.I would say just use the downpipe from a ST185 or ST205. I'm using the Aussie from a ST205.

they are all the same thing. the only changes in the exhaust happen past the downpipe.

then there you go, they're all the same.
So you have a variety to choose from.

Here is a picture of a MR2 cat and alltrac cat side by side (smaller is MR2):

It seems to me that this would effect where the midpipe hooks up. If so, and my midpipe was custom fabricated for the MR2 cat, I think buying a MR2 downpipe makes sense.
That said, Doge used the KO downpipe made for the MR2 and got it to work. He said there was a little effort needed but perhaps even if they don't match up perfectly, you can get it to work with a little effort.

where did you get that pic from and are you sure its not a 1st gen or maby 3rd gen cat? there is also another piece of that DP that the pic dosnt show...so the whole thing might still be the same size.
i know a friend of mine that had a jdm st185 in his alltrac. his motor died and he swaped in a jdm mr2 motor. he said the downpipes were the same and his exhaust ligned up prefect.

actually, i've seen that pic on the MR2 boards. He's right, it is a bit different.
