I went to get my car smogged today to find the old guy there not liking my modified exhaust. He said that I need the papers inorder to have the CAI that I made myself. It is a K&N filter, which should be good enough for him, but I'm not sure where the number is that he needs. I kept everything that came with the box; is the number he needs a 7 digit number that goes something like xx-xxxxx? Because that is the only number that I can see, and its on the sticker that says not to throw the filter away that I never put in my engine. What papers/numbers does this guy want exactly?? THANKS
