Quick Seat Question - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #21691 8 posts Started by IcemanTK
I know this should be in interior, but i figured i might get a quicker answer here.....
I was looking at a set of seats out of a 2001 celica and i like those seats alot better...... would it be possible to change the seast with mine WITHOUT removing and getting new brackets.... Thanks You all in advance..

quick thought there is a sensor under the 6g seats
Um i dont know what sensor under the seat you are talking about. There is just a plug for the seat belt light and thats all. You HAVE TO make a custom bracket for 7th gen seat to fit in the front. No one has done a swap for the rear that i know of, can't be done.
You need new brackets, period.

john (mynzeyes) did it... he said there is drilling bending and other stuff involved. I took the seat out of my GF's 7th gen and just placed it in my car and the 7th gen seats are more narrow then the 6th gen, and the bolt holes dont line up at all.
