Topic #21853 12 posts Started by duga10
ive lowered my car a while ago but it now needs to be lower (lowered 2", thats what the mechanic said, but it aint no 2" drop!)

anyways what company makes 2"-3" lowered springs for a ST204?

thanx in advace
I think the biggest spring drop you are going to find is 1.75" with Intrax springs. Thats what I have. Most of the other manufactuers will drop it anywhere from 1" to 1.5". Anything lower is going to require coilovers.
I think TEIN makes a spring that lowers 2" and 3". Its the top end one, but I am not sure they make it for 6GC..

From what I have found searching, your going to have to go with coilovers, like KLR-toy. Id suggest going with the tein set, I think it costs around $1200 for the set, or you could go with ground control which will cost around $600.
my teins took it down perfectly

i am awesome
you can get ground controls for about $400 actually.

Springs for the 6gc will not lower any more than 2 inches simply because suspension stroke will be too crappy.

i just got some tanabe springs for 170 shipped they are shipped and they are like 244 at andys autosport so i guess it was a good deal i still haven't put them on but they are suppose to be 2.2 drop in front and 1.5 in back.
how long ago did you get your springs? maybe you need to let them settle in first. That actually takes 1-2 months ive heard

Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it...
i have coilovers round 2-2.5" dropped its good stuff but you have to change your stock shocks i went kyb gr2 and it made a HUGE improvment in the ride of my car
