The season for college acceptance letters is here now, anyone my age waiting on some? Today I got my first, my acceptance into UC Irvine...my fourth choice, but I was still wayyy excited. Anybody else get any letters yet? Or am I too young for you all?

I'm still waiting on:

1. UC Berkeley
2. UC Santa Barbara
3. UC Los Angeles

The UCs send letters all through March, so it could be any day now. Wish me luck!

I got accepted into:

Virginia Tech
University of Central Florida
University of North Florida

BUT I'm staying in town. So I chose UNF.

I will transfer to VT after the first year probably.

i um...i went to MTSU for a while...it's the only college i applied to.

after 3 years, i decided to stop by ITT Tech and see how things were there...so now that's where i've been for a little under a year...i'll be out in December. wewt.

UC Berkley is a good choice, i was thinking about Standford earlier.

Good luck to all waiting for thier college acceptance letters...

I remember when i was sitting around waiting for mine... it can be hell if you youre waiting for your top choices. For undergrad i applied to 5 and got into 4. For grad school i applied to 11 and got into 3. It sucked getting rejection letter after rejection. The 3 accpetances came near the end...

i applied to i think 4 and got into all of them... i was surprised i got accepted to the school i am currently going to. i didnt think i would get in. i never really worried much because the school i wanted to go to at the time wasnt really tough to get into, but they had the program i was interested in. at that time i was going to do more technical automotive stuff, and Ferris St. had a very good auto program. i was all set to go there and room with my best friend when my dad said i should apply to this Kettering Engineering school so i could possably get some competitive scholorships from Ferris... well i ended up being accepted to kettering, went and took a look at it (was almost forced to because i really didnt care originally), but after being there i was sold....

but ya, thats my college story, i donno yet about grad school thats still a long way off lol 2 years down, most likely 3 more to go

I am waiting for a reply from YU for their Psy.D program. they dont send letters till the first week of april though, so i still have my fingers crossed.

Update: Accepted into UCSB. I might want to go there over Berkeley or LA (If I get into either one.) I'm thinking the beach atmosphere would be a lot better than the big city atmosphere for studies, not to mention life in general.

Apply to UCSD? It's got pretty much everything UCSB does (snobby area, ghetto area, waves), except it's a better school.
I chose SD over UCLA and I don't regret it. Don't be disappointed if UCB doesn't accept you, they and UCLA trade off on acceptances, or so I've heard.

Final Update: accepted to Cal

Now it's all about making the choice ... I'm wavering between UCSB and UCB, gotta go visit the campuses and see what's up. Should be going down to Santa Barbara this weekend, and to Berkeley next weekend for their "open house" things or what ever they call them.
