Have you been tested for AID or stds?

After seeing lost of ads and stuff on tv.. and thinking of my age. I was just curious who or how many of young audlts get tested or have been or how manys times.

I personnaly have not. The truth im scared, scared of what i dunno. Im 20 and have only been with two women. a friend and a long time girlfriend and have always used protection. but im still scared.

Would just like to know your thoughts or opions.

I donate blood regularly, so they always check for AIDS and other viruses. No biggy to me, i just like donating....what a rush!

I have no need to as of now. but as soon as I feel I've been exsposed to such things, I dont think I'll have any problem taking a test.

I just went to the doctor and had them run some blood work for something else and it came back ok. dude it is fine to be scared it is not an esay thing to think about but if you feel you need to know you might want to go for it if not then just go on living you life happy and full of joy, but that is just me .02 >>

not directly tested for HIV/AIDS. but i've had bloodwork done over the last few months, so surely they would have said something had they found something, if that shows up on those tests...as far as STDs, i haven't been tested.

i get tested about 4 times a year.

The last time I got blood drown, they could not get enough out of my arm, even after several nurses tried using several diffarent tools, then they went after my fingers with a litting tool that stabes them open so they could let it drop into a collection thing, after doing that to each of my fingers, they had to go back and re-open a few. all in all they could not get enough blood to run any tests on. (I was like 10 yrs old too)

that is the only thing I fear about giving blood, I have no problem seeing it, and stuff, but the pain and suffering that may lead to no where sux.

I have "submersive vanes" I think its called, where they just slide around, and get pushed in deap withough allowing the nedal to penatrate it, even sharp nedals.

I had almost the same problem....I was fat tho. Kinda hard to find veins when they dont pop up. I always try and give two units. That way I get that cold, clear, liquid replacement stuff. If you pay just enough attention you can trace it ip your arm, into the heart, and when it gets dispursed. Neat feeling, then it warms up and the cold dissipates.

just because you have "bloodwork" done, doesnt mean they check for everything under the sun, you have to be specifically looking for certain things for them to come back with the results because most things take different types of tests to reveal different results... thats why the doctor checks the boxes on their little pads to tell the lab what to search for. ive had bloodwork done for quite a few things, never any STDs, never needed and probably will never have to, 1 and only 1 girl for me >>

Since I was 17 i've gotten tested at least twice a year, thanks to A hole BF who decided to leave out he had herpes... I make a point of it to make sure I feel and know I'm safe. People lie... considering your past history, you really probably have nothing to worry about especially if you've use protection. But getting tested for STD's sucks man because they take a cutip and stick it right in the hole of your penis and that is some of the worst pain I've ever felt. It only lasts a few seconds, but it hurts to pee for a couple days.

i was so scared when i got tested! the doc called a week later and left a voicemail on my phone saying everything came back fine in the way of herpes, and all that std stuff but said she would have my aids one back in a week or two and she would call me.

i didnt hear for two weeks and i was freaking out. then she called and left a voicemail saying i needed to call her back. I was freaking out hard core and i couldnt get a hold of her. I was trying every 5 mins then i get a hold of her and im shaking and shes like it came back negative.


STD checks are the scariest thing to get done but its the best thing knowing that your clean or even just knowing in general! if youre not going to get tested then you have no business having any sexual relations

tested, of course. clean 100% I believe in using the glove now and not sleeping around alot like when I was younger. Your playing with your life.
