ooooooo, looks nasty thats gonna take alot of work. Good chance to get a GT4 hood and nose cone. Any chassis damage?
Good luck with the repairs. Hope you can return it to its former glorry.

Since your windshield broke, I am guessing you have some bad frame damage.......I hope that is not true though.

No No damage to the chassey its just the left side and i have to go 2 court and all this ****tt

i think his windshield broke for the same reason mine did.... the passanger side air bag. >mad.gif>

i know man... those caused more damage than it was suppose to help.. i was going 45 and it popped too.. i think the 6gc airbags are really sensitive... my friend's civic was going 50+ hit a truck and it didn't even pop...

This is so much Bull! I just joined this website to be with fellow celica fanz and this is what happens now i got no ride to my ladies house,the weekend plans completly ruined and i got 2 take the god damn bus to work everyday what a drag!!

Just think how nice the Celi will look when it is all repaired! >smile.gif>

The airbags in the newer cars are made different. They do not go off just depending on speed, like the old cars udes to at around 15mph. That is probably why the Civic's air bags did not go off and yours did.

its about 100 for a new fender. about 300 for a new oem bumper. 450 for oem hood. and just grab a fuse box from another wrecked celi and go to a local body shop to see if they'll frame repair. thats about how much i got and i was only goin 10 mph but he didnt exactly stop when he hit me. destroyed my bumper, fender, hood, side mirror and the driver side frame for the window. costed me about 1500 dollars after all the paint. shouldnt be tooo bad for u. but i got a deal on all of my stuff because i worke at the body shop so i did most of the sanding and prepping and primer.
the 1/4 doesnt have patience for a ST.... so we make them ST-T's so atleast we'll sound good going slow.

this calls for some after market parts... off to the body shop with yah man! >biggrin.gif> really sorry to hear about your car tho bro... just crazy drivers on the road these days ya know ...

Why the heck did they make the passenger airbag cover hard plastic!!!! They could have just made it soft so it wouldnt bust the window out! Its a bad design! Thats why i have a new windsheild also...so everytime you get into a crash and airbags come out plan on spending another 400$ for a windsheild. Shoot, im gonna disconnect the airbags if i ever get anotehr 6gc with them in. >smile.gif>

$700 for labor
$1800 for paint job, i'm painting the whole car.
$2300 for parts like reinforcement bar, radiator support top and bottom, headlights both sides etc...
$1201.60 for GT4 hood and bumper
$400 for MoMo steering wheel and hub adapter
$250 for GT4 riser blocks
total adds up to be 6651.60..

so i guess your's would be alot cheaper ReMyRaMi. i guess repairs would cost you like $1000++

hey man i had just about THE SAME EXACT DAMAGE done to my celica...it was horrible...but i dont think it will cost more than 5...good luck man! we're all rootin for ya!

Mine was wrecked pretty much like that when i bought it. It didnt damage the fender though.

150$ for Red Bumper (bought from here)
150$ for Red hood (Car-parts.com)
120$ for Highbeam/Lowbeam (bought from here)
0$ Cut airbags out and leave ripped steering wheel and put airbag cover on passenger side >smile.gif>

then i was blingin! I just straightened out some stuff under the hood (not perfect but it works fine).

I also just picked up a new fender off ebay for 150$ shipped. (School bus just hit me )

the crumple zone was probably crushed.. But the protective frame around the cabin is still good.

air bags cost alot to fix.. some where around 1500-2000.. I'm still trying to gather funds to repair my car.. damn you un-insured motorist.. >frown.gif>

I'm gonna guess at $7000 for an estimate, mine was around $6300 and yours looks about as bad, maybe worse.

Sorry to hear, & hope the insurance doesn't call it as the incident being your fault. If he had a problem, there are shoulders on the freeway for emergency stops, not on the onramp where there will be cars constantly coming, that's like saying its ok to park on an actual highway & if they cause an accident it’s not their fault. The merc was asking for an accident to occur & sadly it did, glad everyone’s ok I hope.

Hey Guyz, its the only person here without a working celica!! well i called AAA and she told me that they still need to figure out if it was my fault or not can you believe that bull! i mean mabe its me saying because it happend to me but i really feel that if a freaking car is in the middle of the damn freeway and not on the emergency sholder and is completly parked on the onramp its kinda hard to convince me that this damn accedent is my fault, so much drama this really sux

well im starting a plege anyone who wants to donate any money to me for this accedent can get a hold of me donations start at 20$$ any takers!!!!!!!

it was your fault. Whether you like it or not. He could of stopped because of an obstruction in the road or had a heart attack. You hit him, from behind, your fault.

if someone slams on their brakes on a highway or any street and/or stops and you hit them from behind, it's your fault.
