My 1997 Limited Edition has cruise control, and I was curious if cruise control came with the car or if it was added after the car was bought. I am curious because it has stopped working and I am thinking it could be a fuse problem.

It most likely came with the car. You can look on the actuator and see if it says Toyota.

Mine didn't come with it. This other black auto '97 LE didn't have it either. I think I read somewhere that it was strictly an option.

I have cruise control in my 99 GT. Its on the right hand side of the steering wheel. I think its stock in mine because the word "cruise" lights up green on my dash when I use it

my 97 le didnt have it.
my 97 gt does, right side of steering column and a light comes on
i got cruise control too.. on my old 94 ST and my current 94 GT.. i think it's standard. it's on the right side right below the wiper switch? hit the button and the cruise lights up on the dash.

My 97 GT conv. limited edition has factory cruise.
my 94 GT has it, but for some reson it does not work any more, if anyone knows how to fix it I could use the help. It acts like its working, the green "cruse" light lights up, but it does not work?
