I'd say either a bolt thats connected directly to the trunk or drill something.

i actually found that feeding a wire under the plastic and just hooking it to one of the strut tower bolts is the easiest, but whatever

good idea, but a strut bar could make that tricky
Behind the small removable panel there is bolt with nothing attached to it, I rigged mine up to that. Went round it with a Dremmel just to remove any chassis paint for a better connection.

i managed to GROUND it to the rear seat hinge,dont have the HU yet so cant see if it works,get back tomorrow >

you're grounding a head unit there?
or you're waiting to connect the amp until you get the HU?
if you just want to test you can just power the amp as is, most amps will not power on if the ground does not work

one of the best spots is on on of the bolts top of the struts

But if you really want to race come down to Florida, got a few drag cars that would be fun to race yours. 3000gt VR4 (drag only, not street legal) 97' Viper GTS to name a few. If you want some pics just ask. I could even make a nice little video on my new digicam, lol.
