Hey everybody, im just wondering how many people are from or around the nothern illinois/ southern wisconsin area. Or how many people close by would want to meet up in DeKalb illinois. Its about an hour twenty out of Chicago (if you know where NIU college is then your set)... me and my group (Street Conceptz) and thinking about putting together a general Import meeting at the begining of summer for the entire area. If your interested let me know here. nothing even close to set in stone yet, but if not many other people from around the area want to meet up i would like to still meet up with Celica people if possible... thanks alot

Hey man,

I live in the Quad Cities. Its about an hour from DeKalb. I even frequently go up to NIU to visit some friends there. I'd be interested in meeting up with you.

Nice Nice atleast theres one more of us haha.. yeah we should deffinently meet up. hopefully some more Illinois people get this. But yeah we'll set something up soon. Specially since it looks like the weathers at least starting to warm up...

If my car is finished I might go. I really want to try to make it to the mr2, celica, lotus elise meet in Kansas City in mid June. We should plan a caravan over there. Yota, how is the swap coming?

There is a new rule based on the last Illinois meet though....anyone getting a ride in the 3s has to pay the speeding ticket. >>

DTown: Where are you in DeKalb? Reason I ask is because on the 25th, I'm going up to NIU to visit some friends... Wanna meet up?

J: Swap is kind of on hold right now due to some personal events going on that is a little more important than my car. I hope to be getting on the swap here in the next couple weeks pending on my situation.

Kung Fu and NEVERSTOP (when he finally gets home) would most likely be interested in a meet. Is this meet an 6gen exclusive meet?

Lets get some ideas floating around here for the meet! Anyone want to throw out a date to play with here?

Yota i live right on NIU campus (right downtown Dekalb). I dont know about everyone else but i got a few friends that would want to show up if we did a meet. So in my oppinion it would not be exclusivly 6GC. If anyones against that please let me know....

J- Sounds good to me.

Mike- It doesn't matter to me much, however I kind of like to see what everyones friends drive as well if they're gonna come up as well. I'm sure i will be bring one or two friends with me and their vehicles are pretty interesting. But I'm down with whatever. Would you like to meet up somewhere on the weekend of the 25th? My buddy lives in Grant Tower C.

Haha.. calm down calm down... the whole DeKalb thing was just a spur of the moment idea. I mean your willing to come down and maybe some other Celica people wana come on the 25th to DeKalb. Thats up to them. If anyone else wants to come into town on the 25th that would be great. Just let me know ASAP and we'll throw something together. Other then that it seems like people are interested in setting up a meet later on this year. That would be awsome, but i dont think too many would be willing to come to DeKalb for that. Plus we need more input from some other members. Das' all..

lol...all my questions were directed towards the meet when we would actually have it. Nothing about the 25th. haha

I'm the only one coming up to DeKalb on Friday. None of my friends will be with me, I'm just visiting some people who attend there.

i live in Southern Illinois, in Carmi..... i go to a place in Indiana called Evansville all the time... i could go, but id be in the ol ladies..... she has the same car and cd player and what not as i do... so you would be looking at mine basically.. but she has them chrome hubcap things..

Anything new on this? I'm down with a broken left arm until about the end of May but would drive up to 100 miles or so for a meet.
