How hot does intercooler piping get? I what to clear coat mine because I am polishing it and was wondering would I be ok with regular clear coat or should I try and find engine paint or other high temp paint in clear.

Duplicolor makes a clear coat with ceramic in it that's designed for engines and stuff, and handles up to 500 degrees. I've used it and it's a good product. >

Yeah, they do make a higher-temperature paint as well. I was thinking it was 800 though, but you maybe be right about 1,000.
