My old sidemarkers burnt out so i bought the clear ones to replace then. When i tried to turn them on they didn't work. Does anyone know if this is a problem with the wires or a fuse? Only the sidemarkers are being affected.

I know this is a stupid question, but did you replace the bulbs? If not, then you check the fuse. Then you check the wiring plug right behind the sidemarkers, then it's a wiring issue if thats not it, and you've got a lot of wire to chase.
Changing the housing is just a superficial change, its not gonna make a burnt bulb or bad wiring suddenly better

Yeah, those bulbs are probably the most common bulbs to burn out on sixth gen. Celicas...I'd check to make sure they're not burnt out.
New Toyota project coming soon...
the bulbs came with the sidemarkers and are brand new. im guessing its the wires that i have to check.
Yeah, then just to make sure you didn't unplug the wiring harness a couple inches away from the bulbs.
