so he must have heard me or sumthing cause he jsut turned around and started Yelling and pointing to the ground in front of him.
not like i can hear him anyways... well my on ramp is like 200ft away do i jsut drive by and get on.

you should be fine provided he didn't see your plates and you don't run into him again. good luck >smile.gif>
Your fine. He was out of the car and not running a radar. You cant be given a tickec because the Cop said "He looked like he was speeding".

pretty sure they have to atleast pace you. but theres plenty of other stuff he can give you tickets for
Honestly, he could do w/e he wants. But, it probably wont hold up in court because he didnt pull you over, theres no proof it was you in the car yada yada yada. Dont worry bout it.

and i believe for pacing it has to be atleast 2 miles to be valid.

paranoid, lol. i run all the time, j/k
he could try and give you a ticked for reckless endangerment, but like super said, it would never hold up in court. So I'm willing to bet even if he had your plates, he wouldn't waste his time.

There's still a distance/time requirement for pacing

its cool nothing will happen same thing happened to me in a dealership car from my dads work...doing like 40 in a 25 and cop was sitting in a driveway talking to the person and they both turned to me and was yelling to stop and stuff i just went on my happy way.
you're fine... i'm a dispatcher...most he could have done was raised radio and given them a description of your veh and a reason for the description... and even then, it would only matter if another unit happened to be near and could stop you then and there... There are so many look-out's given on a daily bases they are just about ignored...

and besides, he was obviously busy on some crap call ne ways... if it he really wanted to stop you he would have... all he has to do is tell the people he's out with to stay where they are, radio for backup, get in his car, and catch up... you could have the fastest car out there, but you won't outrun the radio...

The worst that could happen is, he remembers you, you do something in front of him again, he pulls you over, and gives you a ticket... if only b/c you didn't stop last time...

he probably just wanted you to slow down a bit and just make sure you didn't hit him...
i got a speeding ticket without the cop knowing my speed...because he didn't get behind me until i was turning since i knew he was gonna pull me over...i hate washington cops
