Anyone that has info about LCD screen/players...please give me your advice!

What brands are best to stick with? I have no clue what to shop for or where to even start looking for one to buy! Online, at a local store?? No idea where to start....I tried doing searches for info before posting but I wasn't really finding what I needed. I dont want to spend too much $$ (then again who does!) But with in the next few months I really really want to install one in my dash...size doesnt matter haha, thanks for any info you have for me! >>

Well, I've been doing a little shopping recently, and it depends if you want an AV receiver or a DVD/CD/MP3 player. Do you know which you want?

A receiver can be had for under 500, I saw two today for that price, one was at Circuity City (sony) and another was a local car audio store (a clarion)... However, a dvd unit can be had for 6-700 (saw a sayno recently), but if you're buying a unit like this, I wouldn't go cheap on it....

go to ..... www.crutchfield.com that will give you a start... look into.... Alpine, Clarion, Kenwood, Pioneer dvd/cd players.. flip out 7" or so monitor...etc.... you can get on Ebay and find them for half the price as Crutchfield and other places..

hmmmm this guy in my town is selling his used Clarion VRX745VD. He says it cost $850 new, it was used for a month...& he wants me to make him an offer. What offer would you guys make? lol (unless this brand sucks)

my boyfriend is trying to sell his flip out 7" LCD screen, it's not a player of any sort, just a flip out screen.. it's pretty cool, pm me if you're interested.

clarion is good, i have no experience with it ut i hear good things.

The ebay one is two units, a screen and a dvd players. But its kind of crappy. Ive heard of pyle, but its not the best brand in the world.

then again, i always get crappy generico brand TVs and they have lasted for 6+ years

thats the only way to do things ...ONCE.. if u were to get that junk, u'd end up changing it..
thats y this winter i did everything at once.. conversions , wide body , anything exterior, i painted the car 4 times! im not doing it again lolol
