that is crazy... iv seen alot of things im my life but that is the first time iv ever seen a riped in half wheel.. good thing your alright.

Wheels are made to do *exactly* that. Go round and round at speed.

I routinely commuted to work at well over 200kph for nine months, and I wouldn't expect a wheel to fail that way.

The worst that should happen is a tyre blowout. No fun. No fun at all. But controllable.
