New Struts - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #23666 4 posts Started by GT4WRC
Just had a brand new set of Genuine Toyota struts delivered today courtesy of Bowater Toyota here in NZ. US$79.00 each inclusive >smile.gif> Just need to find some time to fit them now.

On a downside, aslo ordered some rear dba slotted rotors from a local distributor. Dozey idiots have sent me ST202 ones instead >mad.gif> Means I'll have another long wait for (hopefully) the rights ones.

oh god you go to the dealship >rolleyes.gif> >confused.gif> >frown.gif>

nvr ever go there
That's a good price, though! Sometimes if you really want something the dealer's the only choice... Burien Toyota in WA does good business, and they ship nationwide.

Why not go to a delareship? Genuine struts (which are made by KYB anyway) are approx 1/3rd the cost from most automotive accessory shops who can supply aftermarket KYB items here in NZ.

Cock up with dba rotors was by a firm called BNT - nothing to do with Toyota.

I have had nothing but excellent service from Bowater Toyota here (they are on the South Island and I'm at the upper end of the North Island) and their prices are the lowest around. $NZ100 per strut here = $NZ370 in the UK!!!!!!!!!!
Just got a new tail light at NZ$166 - RRP is normally over $NZ360. Don't judge every dealership the same.... >wink.gif>
