I don't get it. KYB GR2's are struts, not springs. You keep the stock springs if you install KYB struts (that's just the middle part). Unless you're trying to lower your car, don't change the springs. KYB's are a good OEM replacement strut. I've got them and they handle just fine on my 90 mile a day commute... Now if you want to lower it... that's a different issue. TRD springs are probably pretty conservative. Only a 1 to 1.5 inch drop. I'm contemplating those for mine...

Its a myth that TRD is only a 1" drop. Trust me.
If you don't want a harsh ride, I would not go pro-kit. They are one of the stiffest springs available but performance would likely be outstanding. If I had to do it over, I would buy prokits because I think my car dropped too far. Probably just get coilovers once my struts wear out...
