Just remember, if the ex was really that great, she wouldn't be with you. Or, the ex may have been great, but she still chose you over him.
Or it's selective memory, but we know that women never practice that (as opposed to men, who are just forgetful about most things).

A few months ago I was on a date w/ this guy & he talked about his ex Non-stop! When I ordered what I wanted for dinner he laughed & said "that was my ex's favorite!!!" & then when I said I love mashed potatoes he said "my EX loves mashed potatoes!
No joke...this guy was a frikin idiot lol...he talked about her a lot more than that but I was just giving some examples...

They do it to make you jealous, to make sure that you are with them and that you want to be with them. It's a way of self assurance for them. That's all. As long as she doesn't actually cheat on you with the ex, don't worry about it. If it gets really bad then tell her you'd rather not talk about them or change the subject.
