i'm not so sure.. i hope the whole car is being painted that color, but yeah purple and red??...

I think people are being jerks here. This guy as put some real work into this car, it's not like he's being a ricer or anything. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

well let me straighten something out for you he is a SHE. hence celiGURL.
and last week it was red with black bumpers and racing stripe.
now the black has been painted purple/ i dunno wtf it is.
im not being mean, nor are the rest of us. we are giving our imput just like the rest of the world is going to when she drives it around.
and for those that dont know what it looked like before heres her sketch from HER profile.
im going to go out on a limb here and say everything black is going to be purple now?

Well, if it's a girl car, then that makes it a whole different story on the color combo. Red, and purple is great of a chick car. But you all were not giving so much constructive critisisum as it was just negative comments. I'll change my previous statement; If can't say something nice or constructive, don't say anything at all. I'm still anticipating the finished product. Sorry about calling you a guy celigurl, I pretty much assume every one is a guy unless they say otherwise. That's probably wrong of me.

It's cool i don't mind the critisisum, anyhow the black is still black what you all are seeing is the red pearl coat over the black. The pearl is making the black turn a purpleish color in the light....in a sense you could say it is camilien < yes i know it's spelled wrong. but anyhow those pics really suck, i had to turn my camra to try to fit the car into the pic, hense the sideways pics, anyhow to clear things up yes the car is red and black.....BUT I DO HAVE A RED PEARL OVER THE RED AND BLACK.....that makes the black look purple in sunlight / light. i also still have to do the hood and the clear coat on the car.....
Thank you to all who gave there opinion weigther good or bad....always wanna hear what pple have to say. and i hope that clear all the questions up for ya.

Black/Red are my fav 2 colors together. Alot of people dont agree, but its your car. Have fun with it.
If those are seat covers in your car you might want to concider getting them reapholstered. I got mine done with black/Red and i like it alot.

i think you car looks unique. i haven't really seen anyone getting the blitz style bumper.. i like how the chameleon effect. it look good. good job. can't wait to see the completion. >>

u asked 4 my honest opinion, it sucs painting a kit 2 tone dont work, and thats 2 much pearl for the black. black looks good with platinum pearl. do yourself a favor and paint the whole car one color. my 2 cents
I dont like two tone kits either. One solid color would be nice. I learned my lessons in painting many years ago when a silver pearl completely changed my aqua green paint to a 7-up looking green. I had to repaint, plus i got into a police chase and got away. I was on a motorcycle. I spent the weekend repainting to a blue. For red use gold or silver pearl. Its going to look good when its done.
ha ha ha... this is sad i guess its back to sanding.....the black kit turned completly purple (looks like i ran over barney) he he he.......no more pearl update ya later
yeah actually my black has a hint of purple in the paint too to add to it also, i get the questions if its purple all the time because of the paint that was used to paint it... oh well i dont mind a little bit of color diff...
the 1/4 doesnt have patience for a ST.... so we make them ST-T's so atleast we'll sound good going slow.
