| you definitely need to up the injectors, that's not really optional. if you stay under 5 psi, tho, an intercooler is optional. and you don't have to get an electronic boost controller, you can get a manual one cheap. if you get toys, that ups the price considerably. and you DEF need an EGT gauge. AFR gauges are not necessary at all, they just look cool. i dunno what you mean by "air lines" either. just an oil feed and an oil return. i'm turboing the 7afe as well, i have all my stuff. i think a necessary part of the project is learning what you need. if i just gave you a list of "buy greddy blah this, and HKS blah that" that defeats the purpose of a "custom" kit. also, if you are like me, and installing it yourself, if you can't research to figure out what you need, then you really shouldn't be attempting the install. good luck, and let me know if i can help you at all. > |

I have a question Charlie! Any particular reason why he doesn't need an AFR guage? And if he doesn't, how can you determine proper fuel ratios under rpm&throttle loads. Look forward to your answer. |

| I have also a 7A-FE, my question is. Is the money, time and effort really worth turbo charging a 7A-FE engine? Well I guess for some people who can afford to spend money are up for the challenge. I've done a lot of inquiries in the past even people who sells Tom's turbo kit for the enigne are saying its not worth the money compared to buying the whole 3S-GTe engine. Main reason is there's nothing much you can do on the engine. |

| honestly if i could go back in time, i would have gotten the 3s-gte swap instead of turboing the ST. It was really fun to drive and the power was there, but u end up just wanting more. So im going 3sgte in 2 weeks!! =) |
