well i went and got the car today! its nice and i payed 1550 for it. the title beaurea was closed but we took it to a notery (sp) and got it outts his name, and now monday we just ahve tot ake it there and put in mine. but as of now im driving the car, with his plates. lol but dont worry its not a strager, it my girlfriends brother. so its cool im friends with him. only bad thing is that the trunk and drivers side door wont open with a key!!! so i ahev to unlock my door from the passengers. why would this be?? the key goes in but wont turn. and the trunk it wont even turn! lol and the power antenna wont go down and is like broke but other then that its good. o yea and the OD is broke the pin fell out lol and it doesnt turn any more.

well they didnt fall off really im just saying that, the pin in the trip or w.e was removed to get more outta the warenty (not by me other owner) but how do i get the stock stereo out?? i think i have the 2 harneses that i need all ready and the head unit so how do iget the old one out and ****
Unscrew the gear knob and then remove the gear lever surround (inc gaitor) - will just pull out as it is clipped in place. Then there are a couple of screws at the bottom of the main fascia to take out which allows facia to be pulled out - giving you full access to the head unit.

did it today head unit power but no sound from speakers check wires and there all right idk!!!
make sure everything is wired up right, if your using an adapter, make sure that all the wires are correct on that, i cant really say much more than that without looking at it.
the key might not work if its not an original key, because of a bad cut and the drivers door and trunk are more sensitive locks... just a guess.
idk i think its the orignal key it got the toyota thing on it. i think there just broke??? what should i do?? can i get a keyless entry thing that i can add onto it. so then i dont have to worry about getin a new lock?? cuz the locks from the inside still work, and if i go to the pass side, and unlock it. it unlocks both doors. wich is cool.
