but its in very good shape, no rips or anything, i took it off when i got my car, its still even got the date sticker on it (march 9th 1994) if thats any sign of the condition its in

I don't understand why you don't just wrap it with carbon fiber. For $30, thats more than enough money for parts to do the wrapping.
