I am interested in finding out if there are plans, or a release of altezza lights for the 6g celica yet? I own a 97 ST coupe...which I am going to do a 3sgte swap on next year, and i need some taillights for people to look at, and remember me by as I go by. I would love the price on doing the supra conversion as well. If anyone can give me a ballpark idea I would appreciate it!

no theres none thank god, a few people both here and at celica.net have done custom things, including altezzas, nothing mass produced though. oreo and exquizit have done supra conversions

haha the taillight statement was just a joke...How much am i looking at for a supra conversion? I like the idea of that. It looks good and will look good with the idea i'm going for. Any idea of how much i'm looking at?

I would say if you really want people to remember you then you want a Supra conversion, but if you just want something truly unique import the JDM taillights.
I would love to find out the price of a supra conversion or importing the JDM tails...I think the overlays are nice on some cars, but DEFINATELY wouldn't work on my car. the color and all just isn't right i don't think...but that's my opinion

I think i might just wait around on the altezza's. I heard someone on another board say they were in design for the 6g celica...but the post i found it on was about 6-8 months old. So hopefully they will be out before long!

I would like to see a set of completly clear tails for the 6th gen... not altezza's just clear with colored bulbs... I think that would look good an any dark colored celica.

Buzz: Check out 1exquizitcelica's profile for pics of his supra tails. Also, Oreo has supra tails on his ride that look different than 1exquizitcelica's, so if you get a hold of him he should have some pics.

uhhh ohh coomer i saw my name on a post in here.......i got the Supras and they r frenched into the car i didnt want them flush mounted cuz if i frenched them it is an extra body mod hehe........thought i would put in my 2 cents...and to do a conversion is expensive lots of welding time...

yeah man, you missed an excellent group buy over at celica.net for the JDM tails. we all got them for 350 SHIPPED. we should get them within a couple of weeks time...hopefully. if anything, check out www.digitalroo.com. he specializes in importing rare celica parts to the US.
