this is not about my celica it is about a camry. but it could be related to a celica. anyways. we have a 99 camry and the shifter is somehow broken like the plastic piece that lays infront and behind when u shift if pushed down. does that cause for a whole new shifter or just that one piece??

If your talking about the piece of plastic that is around the shifter and moves as you pull the shifter down into the gears, then its just one piece. If it is that piece your talking about, it might be a bit pricy. My local toyota dealer tried to charge me 40 dollars for that flimsy piece of plastic.
