dontcha hate it when people cant drive - 6G Celicas Forums

i hate it when someones got a car thats got descent amounts of power but cant drive it to save there life i went up against a supra (2jz) on a back road.... took him off the line and stayed about a fender ahead of him until he grabbed fourth???? i chalk it up to the guy couldnt drive it was the most dissapointing think i think

you must have alot of stuff done to your car or the guy in the supra was just playing with you

alls thats doen to my car is intake when i was goin he stayed a fender behind me and i could hear him basically fallin in and out of boost every time he shifted like he didnt know how to get his turbo to boost or somehtin

on a modded turbo car, its really easy to hear the turbo spool up and down with even easy driving.

despite the supras weight there's still no way our car could take it off the line or in any instance for that matter, and besides, the car probably means a lot to him, he's not gonna put wear on his precious 2jz and his tires and his drivetrain just to try and impress some kid..

yup. I think he was just goofing around w/ you. Even if he shifted at 3k every gear he still would've beat u >tongue.gif>

and i would think he would know how to get his turbo to boost lol.......press gas, wait for spool, bubye >wink.gif>

damn you guys dont give our car credit for sh!t huh??? i raced my friends 89 supra turbo and he beat me but you guys make it seem like if our car was standing still while the supra speeds away. i took him off the line for a split second until his turbo spooled then he beat me...

that's cuz w/o a turbo, a supra is slow LoL. You can't really compare the two man. Anyway, MKIV are really overrated. ppl act like they are the best car ever.....they aren't

they have the potential to have big hp numbers and power with simple bolt ons. and the engines are freakin bulletproof. thats why people love them so much. im just saying that they dont give our car enough credit..... thats all im sayin.

Now people is going crazy of the skyline just because of that movie. They think it is the fastest, best car ever made.

lol, they need a lot of whp to actually get decent times. They are Fin whales dude. They weigh in at aroudn 3700 lbs w/ a driver. That is a horrible weight for a sports car.....I'd love to own one, don't get me wrong, ppl just make them look like the **** when there are many cars that will beat the crap out of them w/ half the whp and cost a quarter as much too
