Unless you're building a rally or autocross car and are a serious racer, is it REALLY that big of a deal?? I would seriously hope not. Thats taking it to the extreme.
i wouldnt worry about performance wise with anything celica lol >smile.gif>

the 1/4 doesnt have patience for a ST.... so we make them ST-T's so atleast we'll sound good going slow.
My rally car build includes a carbon fibre roof, bonnet, tailgate, wings and doors along with fibreglass bumpers >biggrin.gif>

80lbs is a lot of weight, and 80lbs at the top of a car really will raise the CG of the car, having adverse affects on the handling.

meh, if i wanted a light car, i would buy a honda.... i hate speeding on the highway with light cars... i feel allot safer in my heavy celica and mustang than my friends gutted civic hatchback gsr
