I was thinking that we should have a forum on 6gc just for posting pictures. Like, one section where people only post pictures (nothing else) and they get comments from other people. Sometimes when I go on the site, I just want to look at pictures of other people's car, and thats it. I mean, I don't think it would be hard to add a section in and I know it'll be a really popular section for everyone. Like, if you don't have pictures.....then you post in the general discussion, but if you do......you can post in the pictures section for everyone to see your new mods or what-not.

Usually stuff like this gets posed in the "Website Discussion" forum.

And you can go to the members ride section and show only members with pictures, then you can see everyone.

Do you guys really think we have enough car picture posts to warrant their own forum? I don't think so, and we've got a members' rides section that has tons of pics. But I'd like to hear more input on this. Most people don't like my thinking.

I think there would be a lot. Members section is nice, but you need to click on everyone in the list.

I actually think itd be better to not allow comments. We'd get a few pages of just chatting, defeating the whole 'picture only' concept.

Itd be cool to click on a thread and see nothing but nice Celi pics.

this is for people with updates.....people are always adding mods and taking new pictures, it would be kool to know there's a place where they can let you know of updates ONLY and have pix.....instead of posting "look in my profile" when they do something new. I've seen a picture forum in a lot of forum site, and its actually really really popular. You'd be suprise how much ppl just like posting pictures and getting comments from it.

I like the idea of a picture gallery

It would be nice to be able to just click on a link & see nothing but hot celica's >> Its better than going to the members ride section & having to click on each persons ride to view pics! And I agree w/ the no comments allowed thing!! That would make the thread 100 pages longer than it needs to be lol

Well, if its one person posting their pics on a thread, and then sure, let people comment.

But, if you're trying to do a pic only thread, then you don't need an entire forum for it.

pretty kewl, but i think best idea would be to have a alphabetical list of EVERYONE's car(1 picture) with their name next to it, and having the picture be a link to their member page to see more photos if desired

just make a thread in the exterior forum called: Pics of Your 6G

state only photos no text posts and it will be fine.

and make it a sticky

oh a forum called "Natalies Useless Topics" would be a good one! But i can guarntee u there will people lookin at htem all the time. People already look at my topics more than any others :-P haha dont know if thats a good thing

And actually...once a mod even changed her subject to "Another one of Natalies Useless Topics" (or something like that) and peeps still flooded to it...so...

...but anywho...yeah, a thread with only pictures is a good idea. Lets do it.

I think you should have a Photo forum
with the following stickey theads
1.Hatchbacks
2.Coupes
3.Convertables
4.Member Photos
5.Meet Photos

This will eliminate the n00bersom question of is that a coupe or a hatchback.

I'd be more than willing to moderate the forum if you create it.
The calander task is just a little to easy lol

i think a section with random pictures in thumbnails would be sweet.. just like random pictures taken from members profiles.. listed in thumbnail format.. not like a thread but kinda like this.. (reef/fishtank website)

This is a good idea too, a lot of times we just want to see a video thread or a picture thread. I am just saying, we should just have a forum where people could have a thread with their pictures on it or a new video or something.
