so what if all the exotic auto manufacturers are owned by larger companies? now they have more resources for development and distribution. really I have no idea what you are going on about ..

I believe Lamborghini is all that is left, all of these prestigious manufacturers are owned by a regular everyday car company. Now it was that a Porsche was unique and rare, something only the cream of the crop could have (ex. 944), but now they're just cars, I wouldn't feel any different driving a Ferrari than a new GTO.
