Topic #2405 102 posts Started by Inferno
Hey i'm so sorry but i just got a huge ticket for racing, engine mods., the whole nine yards and thats going to set me back a couple hundred dollars. Close to $700+. So i need to save up for it. Im just glad the cop didnt take away our cars.

But like i said i'm sorry inferno and everyone here about this. >frown.gif>
I'll be in on the Arising II so long as it will be in June. Won't have the funds til then. Might be interested in the hood too.

Nathan
I want this kit so damn bad.... I want it now, I will cry if I don't get it
*crawls to corner and assumes fetal position, rocking back and forth violently*
I dunno. If I wanted a custom hood. I'd get one like the Abflug's Supra hood. TIGHT!!!user posted image This one is a replica of it.
how much would shipping cost on arising II kit to NZ >redface.gif>
i really love it >biggrin.gif>
im possibly down on the varis arising II...dependin on shipping and location of where its gonna be done...
KAMIXZR...hold me!!!
Where did you get a photo of the hard to come by varis II...DEAR GOD MAN... SEND US MORE!!
just checking on this but by Arising II kit you do mean like the pic of the celi on top left of the new version of this site right? white celie w/ bronze rims @ top left? just gotta double check
I think we should ask them to make a custom roof spoiler I think people would go for the roof spoiler rather than the bodykit itself. it's probably easier to make and it would cost around $100-$200 which almost anyone can afford.............. I'm down for roof spoiler =)

I'd be down for a roof spoiler as well

Nathan
you can order the roof spolier from booster tuning for just about that much... man it's time Celica's got a new facelift in the U.S. I could give a sh** less about a roof spoiler, when one company already makes a really good one for a cheap price... enough w/ the B.S. and lets get some more people, for that kit, and hood. w00t!

(sorry if I seem obnoxious, or rude, I have just always dreamed about being able to have Arising II kit, and this might be my chance for it to come true >tongue.gif> )
if i had the cash id definatly be down for an ABflug style hood! >biggrin.gif>

Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them allNo but I don't buy itLike anything you do, as anyone you areCause I'm...Ten Speed, of God's Blood & Burial

Any word on pricing yet?

For the quoted question, they are 750 for the first ten kits. 980 a kit after that. The hood costs 450 for the first ten.

I updated the list.

Arising II:

1. Sh0gunkid8721
2. Neipas09
3. Phr0z3n664
4. igotta5S-FEturbo
5. FallenHero
6. OCU_Celi
7. badica95

GT-Four Hood:

1. FallenHero
2. K2_Celica
3. Sh0gunkid8721
4. Neipas09
5. presure2
6. duck9483
7. Coomer
8. OCU_Celi

A few things: Remember that we'll have to locate someone willing to let us BORROW their kit in order to do this. Either that, or the 2K-3K(K=thousand) cost for the kit will be divided among all the buyers.

Second, they'll need a test car, and the test car gets the first kit and gets it for free. From what I can tell on their site is that they're located in Walnut CA, 91788.

Shipping is 130 bucks to any business address. I'm guessing that means in the continental US. But, I could be wrong, I'll contact Andrew and ask him.

Because one of the guys needing to wait until June (It's not that long away), I'd suggest that the groupbuy wait until June. This just allows more time to get people in on the deal.

how much will it cost if the kit has to be bought when divided among the first ten buyers? 750 + ? , I just need the info so I have the rightr amt of money set aside, cuz right now I have about 1700-1800 set out for suspension and new wheels, and I am about to set aside 750 for the kit, just need to know a close to exact amt, if it's going to be 750, plus price of kit if they have to buy from Varis, and the shipping.
with 10 people if it should be 3k it would add 300 to cost of kit for 1st 10, plus 130 shipping so it would come out to about 1180 total, for 1st ten
Inferno doesn't even own a celica >confused.gif>

i can send them my test car if it's close enough,i need to check yahoo maps

i get a free kit =)
damn 5 hour drive away =(
I'll drive down, if i get free kit and a hood. Never driven that far though, plus i gotta come up with an excuse, tell my parents that im going camping for a few days. Live in my car and not shower for a few days. just brush my teeth.
any bay area celi owners wanna travel with me?
Forkee lives within that area.
keep in mind guys, if u dont find someone who has the kit readily available (you guys probably wont), that ur gonna have to order it from taka-kaira. and these are MADE on order, so it would take 3 months to make the kit, and then shipping time, and then the time it takes to duplicate it, produce it, and ship them out. so.. ur probably looking at... well after summer to get this thing made.

Take me off the kit list. I might still be down for the hood though.
has anyone put this on celica.net yet? maybe they might have some more ppl on their that would add to the list.
I emailed them about offering my car to them as a prototype, so i can get free kit. They never replied, so this would probably never work out
But we should still be able to get the hood done, right. That's the thing I want most.
