yeah the shade thing, I think the only thing we can hope for is that someone in Japan or Europe who has one get tired of it and sell it, find one in a junkyard, or come up with a part number and hope Toyota of Japan or Europe still have some. They were not released in the US market.

I bet this dealer in AU does have the shade and just didn't want to sell it to me. I think he quoted me the wrong price (it was like $125US shipped) and just told me he didn't have it anymore because being in the US I wouldn't find out. Well, that's my conspiricy theory anyway.

It's not the same thing...what he posted is a rear sunshade/visor. It's an non-USDM dealer option. It comes in black and carbon fiber. I have searched high and low. Perfect Blue has one and so does Tufy.
