I was just wondering. When you start here you can place 4 photos plus 1 big size scenery photo.

But i often see profiles with more then 8 photos en 2 or 3 scenery photos.
Is this connected to how many post you have made on this forum, or is it just kissing up to the admins (no offense)? Just want to know.

Also since this is a free public website. Who is financing the bills for webpage,servercosts en datatraffic. Just wondering because its such a big website and never heard something about money.

people who donate time to the site usually are rewarded with extra photospots.

things like:
writing how-tos and DIY stuff, adding parts to the databases and writing technical stickies.

alot of the members with very large photogalleries were most likely at one point a featured ride, when your ride is featured you are granted extra photo spots for your vehicle.

coomer basically pays for the site himself with help from the google ads.

Wow, thats generous of him. With all the traffic going on around here and all those photos (which are viewed by me MANY times) you would say that it would be hard to maintain all those costs.

well i've added how to's and alot of data in the engine forum and still only get 4 pics so whats up with that?

i believe the old site software automatically updated when someone entered in a how to after it was approved... you'll have to check with coomer, hes the only one that can adjust member's profiles.
