I dont really like the way my sunroof looks from the out side, I love my sunroof and use it all the time but I dont like that its glass, mine has a crack in it already anyway so i was thinking...

what if I took the glass out, maid a mold of it and basicly maid a fiberglass peace that is the exact size and shape of the glass peace, then had it painted to match and put it in place of the glass place, so that it would blend perfeclty with the car, there would only be a thin black trim witch is fine with me, but since I have no need to be able to see though it what do I care, It would open and close just fine but would match the car so its less obvoius and I think would look way better.

what do you think... it would be an easy project to. and my body shop would paint it for a fair price.

i love the glass so i can look out at night when its cold

I'm all for glass myself, when I had my Prelude I hated the solid metal sunroof because the car was so dark with it closed. But yeah, I think it would work. Probably be lighter too.
