maybe....

i could take out the head liner....

take off the fabric that was on it... buy some black fabric at a fabric store...

and then just spray adheisve on the new fabric..

YAY!!!!!!!!
I used the paint and it looked good but if anything hits it it will kinda scrape off and look grey so i took my headliner out and took the tan fabric off and glued some black vynal "not sure how to spell it" up and was way happier with it

That's why you shouldn't use paint for painting carpetted surfaces. The VHT dye actually dyes the carpet...it's not a paint.

Here's what it looks like:

I found it at my local Schucks. PartsAmerica.com may have it online to order.

That's what I meant. I'd hope that no-one uses regular spray paint to paint their headliner. >wink.gif>

Still working on it. Doing some final sanding and molding.
hows the odor/scent? does it go away after you air it out or will it take some fabreeze to get out?
i dyed my dashboard yesterday with black vinyl dye. Great stuff. It worksed real well, just make sure u clean the area really good, and make it dust free. The smell is still there this morning but i think it will go away today.
i wouldnt paint it. its one of those parts in the car thats a bitch to replace if you mess up with the dye.
