Need help - 6G Celicas Forums

Ok...i brought my car to my local body shop to mold my custom raisers (from Doggy) but the guy ask me of what material is made the spoiler...I think it's ABS plastic but im very not sure..plz help

also..the guy told me that he's not sure if he can glue fiberglass (blocks) with plastic (spoiler)..you guys know what glue (or whatever the name) can do the job?

Your bodyshop guy should mould it using fiberglass... or dyna-lite.
you might want to go to another local body shop, that guy sounds like an idiot.

None of it should be abs plastic your spoiler is probably polyeurathane.

apparently...it's made of a different sort of fiberglass...not the same material than the blocks...

I just come from the shop to see where things are and the blocks are molded/painted and drying on a stand...should be dry and ready tomorrow morning

on the stand...the spoiler looked GREAT with a good but not too high height

the guy used a special filler (made for that sort of fiberglass mixing) to glue them
