Ok, I was wondering why does insurance point the finger at young people for the high premiums. I understand that kids cause a lot of wrecks due to the one or two weeks of practice that schools give before the test, but why don't they look into mechanics that deal with a lot of insurance wrecks, I think it's wierd that I tell one mechanic I need a quote for the insurance company and they say $1,163.00 and another body shop tells me $745.00 and has the same repair order as the first shop. The only difference was I told one mechanic insurance was doing it and the other I told I was having to pay.

because if insurance is doing it, they can norm tack on a lot of extras that dont need to be done, an they'll pay.
Also for kids with high insur rates. There are a lot of young drivers that just dont know how to drive. My buddy has wrecked 4 1/2 cars already an thats in 3 years of driving. When i see the highschool kids get out of class they all drive like ass's. It sucdks cause they kill it for the rest of us.

This 17 year old kid had his license 3 weeks his Mustang GT driving around a curve doing 110mph and wrecked it injuring 3 others in the car with him, that is why I don't understand why parents give kids fast cars, some might be responsible but most are going to haul a** and possibly wreck them. My opinion on the insurance thing is that insurance companies love the high charging shops since it gives them a reason to jack up premiums.
