Does anyone know were i can buy a penguin, i don't want a king penguin i want a Magellanic Penguin. the small ones that live in South America.

Thats prolly the funniest question I have heard in a while. Penguins are awesome, but I Don't think you can really have them as pets, but I dunno... still very funny IMO

i know in VA you can't get a large cat liscense though >> cause i wanted to buy a tiger

HAHA!! I was just talking to my friends about this a week ago. They didnt think penguins could live outside of cold climates. I told them they could, and that for $1000 i could buy one and keep him as a pet. They thought i was insane until i showed them this:

upon some quick bordoem induced research, you probably shouldnt get a penguin. Penguins need to be kept in large groups of at least 20 or more. They require a constant supply of fresh fish. And by fresh, they mean gasping for water. They also require a rather large salt water tank to swim around in. Youll need to find a vet that will cater to a peguin. And theyll need constant care, as youll never be able to go on vacation. You cant just drop a penguin off at a kennel. In addition, a lot of the penguin species are endagered, so it might be against the law.

Anyone see the movie 50 First Dates with Adam Sandler. They had a little penguin. I wanted one after I saw that movie. He wore a little shirt lol.

yeah tropical penguins are cool. At a few hotels on the Big Island in Hawaii they have them out in the courtyard like area.

there was a clip on Real TV of a pet penguin that walked around town with a backpack on and people would put fish in the backpack for him. he'd then walk back home...and no im not high i definitely saw this on tv >>

penguins are legal i know they are. u just have to have certain things like a pond a certain size and temperature and stuff for them basically u have to buy them a habitat but u can have them. the law is more specific about what u have to have but u can have them. and penguins know matter where they live can be in hot weather.
