Everybody remembers that save toby thing, well I was wondering, this guy doesn't have a copyright for "save toby" then why doesn't someone make it a registered trademark and copyright it, then they could sue the s*** out of the owner of save toby for every hit that site has recieved. He planned everything but the save toby concept has no legal protection that i'm aware off.

Anything you post online is automatically copyrighted to a point. I don't have to file for copyright to get copyright protection for this site for instance.

I only know a little bit, but copyrighting a popular phrase on a website after it was created and then attempting to sue the site won't really get you anywhere.

It was an idea i'm not serious or I would have tried it.
