looks great

2000 Celica GT-S 6spdQUAIFE//TRD//AEM//FIDANZA//BEATRUSH//TRIAL//WINGSWEST//ALL JL AUDIO
Just dont hit anything, it will crack the bondo and it will be bad news bears!
yea gotta love that 3 am work

with sanding, molding, bondo, fiberglassing.....
just be thankful your doin this at this time of year

i was doin that during the winter.......= freakin cold
looks good, but if you ever have to change your headlight glass, put in projectors or get a chance for a turbo with FMIC, you're screwed.
thanks for the positive comments

in response to rjb23; i should be set with the bondo stuff if i hit anything it wont be to bad i layered it with the long stranded fiberglass bondo that stuff is basically unbreakable and if youve ever seen it in an accident it bends and smashes more than cracks/splits apart... then i put the regular bondo on top to cover the holes and for easier sanding (sanding the fiberglass bondo with the 36 & 40 grit strips is a bitch)

and playr158; youre forgetting i live in cleveland, last night i did it in freezing rain :-D but im born and raised in cleveland so the temps really dont bother me that much

and junior; believe it or not i considered possible headlight work, and other front end mods like possibly an intercooler, and the mesh in front can be easily taken out and there is enough space to actually work on the front end without removing the bumper and im even able to take the lights off >smile.gif> (my front end is a little different too it was completely rebuilt and is missing some of the supports which allows a little more space)

i like it, if anything just unbolt the front, and side panels and remove the whole thing as one piece.

i dont see where the problem is.

hows it taste motha f*cka
i used the long strand stuff too and it cracked a little from driving on the freeway and then when i hit something it cracked all the way. it is nowhere near being un breakable.

i dont know ive seen the long strand stuff after an accident and it didnt crack too bad, unless you used too much hardener i think it tends to work well, but i dont plan on getting in any accidents >smile.gif>

can't do it since the front is molded to the side panels and the side skirts is molded to the side fenders. I did the same with my kit, but i didn't mold the front.
do you plan on filling the sidemarker hole? If so, how would you do it?

i think the best way is to weld metal from behind the fender, then cover it with bondo and sand it down til it's smooth. i wouldn't trust any long strand bondo to keep that hole patched up, just my opinion.

yes the best way would be to weld metal to the back of the sidemarker holes and then fill the hole with bondo... putting bondo on holes that big prob wouldnt hold up for too long
