maybe to keep the floor in place when there is ''danger to manifold'' during excessive nitrous use?! >biggrin.gif> haha

no clue man, looks like another ricey gimmick to me though
there was a post about this a while a go. i remember they said it was worthless and didnt affect the cars handling. someone find that post.
i'm not sure if ths does work. but i was planning on getting one and using it to secure some 4 point harnesses along with my 7th gen seats.

that really sounds like a bad idea.

It helps mid section flex, the thing is the flex isn't in that area as much as midway up the body, it's a good concept but wrong location. I vote useless gimmick.

Yeah, that sounds very deadly. Not only are the harnesses supposed to not be mounted so that the back straps are vertical, but I wouldn't trust that bar would hold a harness anyway in an accident.

yup its better to bolt your harness to the back seat
