Ok so i was pulling out of this place and heard of weird noise, i thought i bottomed out, and then i got a red light so i pushed in my clutch and it got stuck. I pulled it bakc out thinking maybe it was my floormats that made it get stuck. And now it feels like nothing is pushing back on the clutch, its real easy to push in and it goes all the way down to the floor. And when i put it into gear it doesn't go anywhere. I have a new clutch with only 30,000 miles on it so i do not believe it was that, and it gave no sign of going, it just kinda went (and i have never dropped the clutch or burned out before). WHAT COULD THIS BE??? i was thinking one of four things: 1)Clutch, which is the least likely cause it is new 2)Master cylinder 3)Sleeve cylinder 4)Throw out bearing

check if u have fluid in hydraulic lines for the clutch. sounds like you may need a new clutch slave cylinder

Everything moves, like when i push the clutch everything in the engine bay moves. The slave cylinder moves (it's like right by the header so you can see it).

can you still get into gear?

Yea it goes into gear and everything. When i put it in reverse the reverse lights light up and i heard it click into reverse and everything.

My mechanic said he thinks it is the clutch even though it only has 30,000 on it. He said that master and slave cylinder look like they are working fine. Hopefully it is not the tranny.
disc is shot or the bearing is done
did you change your bearing when you did your clutch? Something that should always be done with a clutch.

It was a full clutch kit (clutch disc, pressure plate, and throw out bearing). Does this mean im going to have to definitely take out the tranmission no matter what, considering what the problem could be? >confused.gif>
