Me and a buddy wondering threw the junkyard gettin parts for his Volvo and My Suibe. Looked almost over all the cars and got alot of crap I only got a few things but it was well worth the trip.

5 finger discount I guess... most junkyards have a policy where if you can fit it in your pocket then it's free, that way they don't have to deal with the whole "shoplifting" issue.

Well they dont have the policy here, I wish tho. Yeah this and some other non-toyota stuff, ironicly all the parts I needed to fix my Suibe I pocketed. I am gonna go back for more, I wish they have some 1st gen celica's for badges but no such luck mabey another yard.

Around here, they don't let you go into the junkyards. They have to get everything for you.

Which SUCKS.

A lot of the yards in my area also won't let you go pull parts yourself. I'm currently looking for a decent salvage place that actually has 6th Gens at all. Went out to one last week, the closest I got was a couple of 5th Gens, none with rear disc brakes, or anything else I could see to benefit me.
Tons of 2-5th gens here, I wish there was some more 6th gen's besides mine, mine has been stripped clean by now....

It would suck not to be able to pull your own parts, sometimes I need the smallest thing, and if they pull for you they really dont care.

same thing for me for the ones that ive gone too. the insurance wont allow it.
same with the yard i work at, they dotn let people walkthrew to much and you cant pull your parts, there is only one 6th gen ther and its a 99 gt with factory skirts , leather and 5speed , all the interior is there motor and tranny is gone theres a couple 7th gens which i am problly getting the seats out of for 50 bucks a piece
I'm trying to get the rear disc brake parts off of any 5th or 6th gen Celicas, look around for me please, I'll pay you to get them for me.

theres a set on the gt still at my work what would yah all need i will check on prices tommarow

Try using car-part.com

It links the parts inventories of junkyards across Canada and the U.S., with province/state and major city specific searches.
car-part.com sucks. I've gone through and emailed like 40 places in one night, and didn't get one good reply.

You have to go across the lake. I'll let you know after I hit a junk yard w/ my friend next week.

They helped me a LOOOOOT! Mike was on awesome guy to work with. Tell him Ryan, the guy that bought all the Celica transmission parts sent you! Good luck, they have an ST and a GT, and can get pretty obscure parts. Give em a call!
