Best Place TO Hid Gauges? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #25700 10 posts Started by drdos
Does any one know what the best spot to hide gauges would be? Im trying to keep my car stock looking as possible but need 2 hide 3 gagues. Thinking of putting them on the bottom din of our dubble din space. But its 2 tight. i know it can be done. but i want to be able to keep the flipy thingy to hide it. Another spot i was thinking was in the armrest compartment.

Any ideas?
I would just custom mount them in the storage pocket since you want to be able to hide them. In the glovebox or the armrest compartment you're not going to be able to easily read the gauges when you're driving.

New Toyota project coming soon...
mount them below the steering column

You wouldn't be able to see them when driving if they were mounted there.

yes you can just gotta take a peak down? its like at your knee i see my knee all the time
Little more elaborate, but...

take off the power window control on the driver's side and put them down there. then put the driver's controls in the arm rest or on the Cigarette lid...

less to worry about, people will not likely **** with ur car.
relocate your radio to the glove box. use the double din for however many guages you want, then build yourself a cover. make sure you have a remote for your radio.

I will return one day.
