figured i'd ask here cuz i'm thinking the power window units are probably the same as the 6th gen

question for my parents:

my mom has a 2001 camry with power windows and the driver side window sometimes gets stuck in the down position - it always works going down and is sparatic when putting it back up - i witnessed it first hand today - she put the window down at wendy's when leaving it went up half way then stopped - about 2 minutes later she tried and it went up about 1/2 inch - did this until it was all the way up

any suggestions about what may be causing this?

It could be either the motor, or the window fell off the track. Does it go up or down slower than normal? Does it make a clunk or does it tilt when it only goes up half way?
