I think / pretty much know all the NW meets are a joke anymore sense inner things between some 6gc members went down. The last meet I showed up to basicly the "leader" of the "followers" basicly said screw you and that I shouldent show up, all of this steming from a "deal" that wasnt guranted in writing nor even in phone conversation that I might be able todo something. I know for other instance's because differece's of opinion that other members of 6gc are no longer welcome to meets, and have been "ditched" at meets. I think its total BS I thought it was just a general Idea to meet up and talk about cars, not people, but for some people this will never be good enough. I know for a fact this will start some problems but I dont care anymore, just because we dont agree with others or do things in other peoples opinions that is smart doesnt mean we have to be withheld from a celica meet(key word being celica).

I dont know mabey I will personaly try and arrange something this summer who knows but I would just like to have a nice big celica meet for once without problems, and hopefully have my 3s going and whoop on you 5s and 7a punks.

and amy you can help me out here but i believe weve had meets since that have gone great and even someone we had drama with (im sorry i cant remember ur name crazyceli) came and we threw all that drama out hte window!

and just cuz u can womp on some of us with a 7a or 5sfe doesnt make you above us. If you really wanna come to a meet and not have that kind of tension that we had last summer then u shouldnt be saying something like IM GONNA WHOMP ON YOU GUYS or whatev

and no one comes to NW meets and thats cuz they have prior engagements, their parents wont let them drive that far, gas is too expensive, or their cars are broken or in the process of being worked on!

well everyone always thinks that the swap is too much money and to hard todo and mine has had its stages but Ill all be worth it.

Nik - Im down man, 1/4mile and highway runs I am looking forward too it. A little bit of celica/mr2/camery/solara/corolla all wrapped up in a pink packege ill be fun to say the least.

im the only one who drives to Kennewick, Oregon, other parts of Washington, etc

Dustin my problem is when Coomer drove 6 hours to get wheels from u u never showed! then had to drive 6 hours home that night! a 12 hour drive!

also....you keep talking about a 6 gen..its a been a year - where is it? Dont talk about a swap till u got the car atleast.

I was just up in seattle for a CRAPPY car show so dont get me for traveling. I would go probley close to 100-150miles. Yeah No problem we all need help at some point.

It was never a deal set in stone, and I am glad it didnt go down because within a month I think it was that car died. We hadent arranged a meeting time, I was unsure if I had to work, I didnt know all the circumstances to the situation but there is also where I am coming from and I personaly believe keeping my job over some wheels is worth it. I didnt mean to "screw" him over but between me and him it doesnt seem like any harsh feelings.

dont talk to u about traveling? I travel a lot more for car shows - Nissan meets in Canada, Toyota meets in seattle, kennewick, portland, car shows in canada, seattle, portland. i was in oregon just about every weekend for some sort of celica thing last summer!

The fact that coomer loaded wheels in his car and drove to my house then down to ur place and we got there around midnight and we called over and over and over again and u never picked up. I do believe u said u fell asleep! How do you fall asleep when u know someone is driving so far to get rims from u?!

He may not have any harsh feelings but coomer is my homie....

I have to stand behind Clipsetuner on this, wile I'm gana keep my resons out of it. I think nothing bad of any 6gc member but the meet that i was at, maid me feel kinda like the 3rd wheel, not that I was not welcomed or anything.

I have not gone to many meets because of work and I really wana go I mean that but I would like it to be more based on the cars, and checking out what people got, even if its nothing major it does not mean is to small to show off we all have our budgets and I think we all know how costly our cars can be.

P.S. you wont be able to beat me for long, when I get my current projects out of the way, my motor swap will soon follow. (5th gen 3sgte, with turbo upgrade if I get my way)


I drove just as far, for that meet.

Please guys, dont fight over who is more dedicated to going to meets, its not worth it, everyone has differant dedications to there life, and it does not matter, what matters is that we do what we feel is right, it that means driving 150 miles to a meet then cool, or it that means that driving 10 miles to a meet is to much then fine I would not hold that against someone, specialy when I dont know all the reasons

maybe I should host a meet, make it about the cars, and about having fun. hopefully get everyone to come and throw in a cruse/bbq, might be just what we NW people need to show the NE/SE/SW/ peeps that we can represent 6 gens just as good.

When its the same 5 cars showing up and nothings been done then obviously the meet wont be about cars anymore

its not our fault that some of us are close friends now cuz weve hit up enough meets and now hang out regardless if theres a meet or not

Like i said if u wanna go to a meet about cars then come to a PSTOC meet because then its all toyotas and they stay all about cars since there are new ones each time..but as far aas NW 6gc meets go its just the same few cars showing up that usually havent changed since the last time so its gonna be more about hanging out and getting to know eachother than the cars

Thanks Creis I agree with you 100percent. I dont think its dedication to wanting to meet, but also somewhat you also just want to hang out with that person(s).

If you want to arrange a meet to hang out just with people in general then why bother even setting something up? If you know these poeple well enough you should have there numbers or PM at least, then making a meet and disreguarding some people. Its not a bad thing you made closer then car friends off the site but why make a meet?

and as far as not getting new mods or anything I dont think Ive seen/read about you gettin any new parts besides projectors.......

and i gurantee if Creis ever got time off work to come to a meet then a lot more car talk would go down cuz there would be something new to talk about...i know were anxiously waiting to see his car

my 6th gen is a gurantee, Ace is cutting me a killer deal and it is basicly my car, hes not messing with it at all because it would be pointless. I have wanted it for quite a while be I have respected his money situations and he has respected mine. I hopefully should have the car within a few months but if something happens you know Ill respect that.

I will say I having nothing brand new because it is basicly pointless but I have a crap load of parts, 3sgte, FMIC, BOV, Solara tranny, MR2 harness, MR2 ECU, Wheels, tires, body kit, cage, tail lights, most of the stereo / A/V setup, GT4 drum to disc conversion, Seats, the list goes on and I find it kind of funny that even tho I dont have the car I still get the parts for it instead of driving "stock"
