it finally happened. and i feel exactly as i thought i would. watching it leave on the back of my friends trailer... packed up for the 8 hour trip out of my life. I sit here now left with only a slip of paper, parts skewed around the floor, and a few random digital pictures left on my hard drive. saddened, but anxious is the only way to describe it. All the money, all the time, all the frustration and feelings of acomplishment. It's been the longest short trip ive ever taken. i put less than 9,000 miles on it, yet my life has been eclipsed by it for over a year and a half. the garage is empty, with only fluid residue left over... its sad... but im optomistic. it will be replaced. though the replacement wont command the attention nor the respect its predicessor did. but new doors will be opened, and ill move on hopefully with more money in my pockets. New car will likely be revealed next week.

my reason for selling it was basically it was nothing but a virus on my bank account... the latest case and point being spinning a main crank bearing, which i sold as is with the bearing spun, so i only got 6500 out of it >>

nah, not really a writer, thats just kinda how i felt all yesterday... its sad, it sucks, but it would have only kept getting worse. basically my next car is an intermediate car... it will be built around the idea of being a stock class autocross car, so i can compete with it, but im going to *attempt* to keep the budget to a minimum so when i graduate in 2-3 years (and that also marks when the cobalt lease is up, ya that was definatly pre-meditated >>) i can get something i really want... such as a new STi or a Mazdaspeed RX-8.

sad but its definitely good to move on and change things up. i like the idea of working your way up to your "dream car".

its odd... i dont really think i have a "dream car" or atleast any kind of attainable one... i really just have vehicular ADD. theres lots of cars i like.. but i just cant stick to one for very long.


EDIT: my "dream car" is a lotus exige.

maybe not a "dream car" but a car that you think about and would like to own. but its definitely good to move on.

lotus exige....sick car. its gonna take a lot to move your way up to that, lol
