I will return one day.
I need one too. Preferably one from Europe rather than Japan. Its the only way you can order the hood spoiler.

I believe once someone in the states orders a part it becomes unlocked in the system. This will allow others to order a part with out a VIN.

Well, that what I was talking about with the parts guy anyway.

Can you guys over there help us out ?

Thanks

I will return one day.

I contacted ToyotaWorld and they said they could not get it anymore (I think it was $20-25). I did contact Toysport and they could get it for about $70 shipped. I have been on the UK boards looking for one for months now with no luck >frown.gif>

Dustin:

I spoke with Jeff from Toyota World last week. He indicated that he could get it if I had a VIN# of the car that came with the part stock. Thats only the European ST205's. He confirmed that it has NOT been discontinued. And, I wouldn't order any part from Toysport.

Jay - that is good news >biggrin.gif> BTW I am 95% sure that all of the euro Celicas have the hood spoiler, not just the 205s. I will post on the UK boards and see if anyone is willing to help

also, this is the forum, great guys there

Thats interesting that it came with other 6gc's too. I read that it was designed to reduce hood vibration over 150km/h. I guess I just assumed that would be ST205's only....laughs.

i dont have the spoiler and i cant say that i have any hood vibration or anything odd happening at any speeds.

I have it... don't notice a difference, and I'm above 90 even after only one hood pin and the stock latch...

If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.
I have the hood spoiler and its definetly hot when it comes to looks! I get compliments on it ALL THE TIME! i get more compliments on that then any other part of the GT4 parts I have.

I got mine when I ordered from toysport. I think toysport isnt too bad. ive had good and bad. Last part I got was low beam projectors and they came in 4 days!

It does not come painted. It looks like you also need the taller washer nozzels as well. I think its about $30-40 if you can get it from Toyota. The trick is finding a European ST205 vin number.

j, no need for the taller washer nozzles. i have the stock '204 ones in my hood, they work as normal. >wink.gif>
i dont understand why u guys are having such a hard time finding these, i got mine a couple years ago with all the other '4 stuff.

My nozzles appear to stock as well.

I sent a few messages out, I'll see if I can find one in stock.

Good to know guys. Thanks for the replies.

I dont know what you have locally, but you may be able to go and have them make you a similar spoiler.

If you want, I can get you measurements for mine.

The four is JDM, and doesn't have one.

I think I have a red one kicking about though. I might get around to fitting it one day.

JDM ST205Blitz Spec NUR Exhaust, somewhere over $1000Needing another one 18000 miles later, bloody annoying.
Toyota Des Moines comes through again. I got the hood spoiler for $56 shipped.

you guys know that washer nozzels are adjustable, right? if its not spraying in the right place, you stick a pin in the little hole and adjust it .
