Aren't we forgetting a little automotive gem called the Ford Focus?

Building a 500 whp street legal Skyline GT-R 34 V-spec I or II shouldn't be _that_ hard really. Or a Supra, or maybe 300ZX Z32 or any of those "high powered" cars.. Of course, that particular Skyline is a piece of art, but just getting a car approved as street legal with 500 whp isn't really hard.

In Norway you can increase or decrease 15% engine power without even asking. After that you have to get it approved. So, Supra TT = 330 hp. Add the 15% and you got 375-380 hp right away. Then again, the Supra can easily manage more without a rebuild, so up the boost a little and go do a dyno run. Then come back and pay the taxes. I'm pretty sure they would slam the approved sticker on it almost right away. Do some suspension and brakes and other small things, and you should get approved with 500 whp (that would be like 550 bhp probably?).

I'm not disrespecting that Skyline, because oh my God, it's beautiful.. I'm just pressing the point that a 500 whp (or maybe even just 500 hp) street legal import isn't _that_ big a deal.
