Will a 5SFE Alternator fit (bolt on) on a 3rd gen 3SGTE.

only if you have the 90 amp alternator in your car besides that no. and i think the only car with the 5sfte to come with that was the MR2 with power steering. cause the power steering is electric. but besides that the celica alternator is a lot smaller then the one from the 3sgte

im using my 5sfe altinator on my 3s. all i had to do is rewire the 5sfe harness plug into my 3s harness.


Black2na, the 3s and 5s altinators are the same size. powersteering is hydraulic not electric.
